Flying Like a Bird



In this incredible YouTube video, Jarno Smeets takes a running start and then lifts off the ground by flapping his massive brightly colored wings and manages to stay airborne for about 30 seconds.

In this most recent attempt, he was able to fly up to 100 meters, IT World reports.

A mechanical engineer, Smeets' success is the fruit of eight months of research and design for his Human Birdwings Project.

Last month, she mounted a little camera to the nose of her log and captured the beauty of an empty surf. Locally based production company 'Rest Your Eyes' then glued up the tapes for your viewing pleasure.

Cruising the waters around Antarctica may not appeal to everyone’s sense of adventure, but passengers on this ship got a real shock when the iceberg they were passing in Wilhelmina Bay suddenly exploded.

We’ve seen many parodies involving Siri, the personal assistant that comes with Apple’s iPhone 4S. But rarely do you see one with special effects. Two brothers, Andrew and Nathan McMurry of andrewmfilms, have created Psycho Siri, a short horror film about an iPhone gone bad. An abandoned iPhone turns out to be a killer of a deal.
