Mickey Mouse Made to Look His Age

Mickey Mouse was born in November of 1928, which makes him 83 years old today. Luckily for those who ever wondered what the mouseman would look like if he ever did age, using skills honed from a mask making class, artist Darick Maasen has created a vision of what Mickey would look like today, assuming micemen live on the same age lifecycle as humans.

Vintage Car Bookshelf

Dutch design studio Denieuwegeneratie converted a vintage Jaguar into a tall bookshelf for the interior of their newly-built Dutch Mountain underground villa. By removing its engine, cutting out a large rectangular window in the roof, and placing the vintage Jaguar upright, the once active vehicle is transformed into an intriguingly attractive storage unit and shelving space. The trunk even serves as a lower cabinet.

Beautiful Snow Circles at Rabbit Ears Pass, Colorado

The five friends created the snow-circles simply walking with snow boots around the pristine snow. Three hours later local photographer Cedar Beauregard took this aerial footage with a camera mounted on a remote-controlled hexacopter. Detailed photos can be seen here.

Freaky FFXIII Shiva Sisters Cosplay

Video game designers are constantly trying to design characters that are hard to duplicate in real life. And every time, creative cosplayers find a way to do it. Take a look at the Shiva Sisters, Styria and Nix, from the game Final Fantasy XIII. That’s impressive, to be sure. That’s the work of “the-mirror-melts”.

Mona Lisa Copy Painted By Leonardo Da Vinci's Student Discovered in Spain

A copy of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, Mona Lisa, has been found in the vaults of the Spanish Prado museum, looking younger and more ravishing than the original (See picture above: original left, copy right). Museum officials said it was almost certainly painted by one of Leonardo da Vinci's apprentices alongside the master himself as he did the original.

Painted alongside the original, historians say it gives another insight into what the model for one of the world's most famous paintings actually looked like. The copy of the Mona Lisa features the same female figure, but had been covered over with black paint and varnish. Two years ago tests were done and restorers discovered something hidden under the black coat.
